Paradise Lost and Found: Poem

Paradise Lost and Found Man was made, from the dust, of the earth, But the breath of God was his real birth, God spoke to man, face to face, True friends were they, as if of one race. Then came the devil, that caused the man to sin, This raised a wall, between God, and His being, It broke the relationship, that was so sweet, Yet, God longed, His man to meet. So God devised a plan, that was so kind, It transcends man’s heart and his mind. He made a way, his sin to blot, Which by now, had formed a clot. As man couldn’t pay, for the sin of his own, God sent His son, whom He never disowned. While His Son, bled and died, for mankind, It demonstrated His love that was in His mind. So Paradise, that seemed, forever to be lost, Was gained, by payment: Jesus, life was the cost. That man could live, once again with Him, With love and peace, that knows no grim. Oh!
