Little Foxes called WAD
Little foxes ……WAD . [15] Catch us the foxes, The little foxes that spoil the vines,.......... Song of Solomon 2:15 What are these little foxes….that can ruin out spiritual walk with the Lord .? They seem to be small in size but can be a hindrance in our relationship with Jesus our Lord and Saviour. W - Worry . It looks innocent , does not seem sinful but rather harmless. Jesus likened the worry to the thorns ( Matt 13:22 ) . Just like the thorns choke the growth of the seed that has been planted, likewise the thorns can choke our spiritual growth . A - Anxiety - Any worry that is not checked/ handled but allowed to fester in our hearts can become anxiety. Anxiety alters our behaviour , we can turn boisterous , angry and blame others. D - Depression . When anxiety goes unchecked it can turn into depression. Resulting into a sad countenance and intense worry.. Jesus gave us simple medicine called - Trust .
