Wickedness given a world platform but The walls of the temple have fallen
Olympics a world event is watched by the world. Setting up a skit by the Lgbt community - on the Last supper has disturbed the Christian community. Surely this is an abomination.!
What if their skit did not consist of the any biblical event. Would the Christian community been disturbed that they have been given a platform to promote their belief ? No.
It's because we have been used to hear / watch this community evangelize their doctrine and beliefs. Infact even the a “ Christian “ college gave them a platform in the college premises to talk to their students.
What are we witnessing “ The walls have been torn down..” The temple has been defiled and its walls are broken down.Morality walls are fallen in the church…..the standards have been lowered as wickedness seems to spread its wings in the entire globe.
Which moral sin is more wicked in the sight of God ? Fornication or Adultery or divorce , or lgbt ??
The church has voiced it's great concern over the immoral issue of Lgbt whereas the fornication and adultery are big giants , which few dare to fight or rather even speak about .
When Jesus was asked about divorce - he answered in the first go about the danger of adultery …..
Whereas today “ Divorce” granted by the Court is viewed as if it is granted by the Lord and now the child of God is free to marry ….( We dare not consider pauls writing about an individual remarrying while the spouse is alive). The church has altered it's standard on this moral issue and chose to highlight the issue of their favorite verse, where it is read “ Divorce is permissible on ground of unfaithfulness” ( Matthew 5:32 NKJV
[32] But I say to you that whoever divorces his wife for any reason except sexual immorality causes her to commit adultery; and whoever marries a woman who is divorced commits adultery.).
What if the church has misunderstood this verse and promoted divorce to its church members ? In fact there was a time where catholic church were having a strong stand against divorce, Whereas the evangelicals lowered their standard and were soft on the issue of divorce.
How come the walls started crumbling down ?
What if the person is given the right to divorce on grounds of immorality …..dare to consider the words of Jesus……. “Forgive your brother seven times “( Matt 18:22). This verse is set aside in terms of marriage unfaithfulness ...for the spouse is a hurry to jump the band wagon of “ Divorce” and there are pastors who support them with the “ Scriptures “.
What is the motive , why the Pastors have supported divorces ? Which one is applicable.?
Ignorance of the Scriptures.
Danger of losing the membership or tithes ?.
Have we walked on the way of “Eli” - who considered - ministry and gifting more important then “ Morality”.
Would the pastors grant divorce to their daughter-in law or their son–in-Law on the same ground that they have sanctioned others.?
Do the Pastors fear this scripture “ Do unto others , what you would have others to do unto you……” while freely sanctioning Divorces of others.
Why some God fearing children of God waited on Him , when they found unfaithfulness in their spouse. Would not they be considered foolish by the others ? Some have , cried and waited patiently for the wavering spouse to return. Were they foolish to ask others to support them in prayer for the “ house to be set up again “
Some have waited for years to be joined once again , remaining faithful though the other was unfaithful. Some have succeeded and had their spouses back , some did not….
What about Paul's standard of adultery ? (Romans 7:3 NKJV
[3] So then if, while her husband lives, she marries another man, she will be called an adulteress; but if her husband dies, she is free from that law, so that she is no adulteress, though she has married another man. ).
We dare not look at this scriptures ? Today's brethren would laugh about the “ Quakers “ .
Thinking we are the wiser lot.
Who will have the last laugh ?.
God wanted watchman in the times , when Israel had gone astray ?
Ezekiel 22:30 “I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one.
While this scripture is used for the need of prayer and pray we must , whereas the “ building the wall” - has gone unnoticed ?
Praise God , He has raised up watchmen in every city , to build the walls of the temple ( church ).
Few voices crying out in the wilderness “ Prepare the way of the Lord, make His paths straight…”
For our Lord is coming …….
