   Man,  Be Christ-like? Marriage is an important aspect of our Life. God designed marriage and of all the creation that He made, He said It is " Very good". God who is the inventor of marriage,  gave us the manual ( The Bible), as to how this marriage is to be 'maintained.'' Many, are ignorant that God has given instructions about "Marriage Covenant ".    It is good that there are churches that emphasize the need of counseling before marriage, in fact, some churches has made it so compulsory that no marriage is conducted without counseling. whereas some become interested in the manual when they find that " Marriage is on fire.".   Family matters . Role of a wife   Someone said marriage is like two people riding a horse. Depends: who is leading the horse. God decided that "Man is the head of his wife ". This may not be well digested by a woman, who holds the world views. The wife is called upon to submit ( Honor and respect )to her husband. (Eph 5:22 , Col 3:18 ,1 Tim 2:11, 1 pet 3:1). In the present age, this sounds to be an abomination in the sight of the world.  Two main reasons  Most of the Marriages break or fall apart for primarily two reasons (though there are others ). Immorality on part of the husband ( mostly ). The essentials of both wings Many times, you will come across, when scriptures speak of certain matters, it speaks of the necessity of two things. Water baptism is not a ritual that a person , who believes in Christ undertakes.  Who can be Water Baptized? There are two important conditions that validate a Water baptism. Belief : A person needs to put their personal trust and believe from the heart that Jesus died for their sins and rose again from the dead.  Repent : A person needs to acknowledge that he is a sinner and has sinned before God and now is willing to turn away from his old ways of life. If the two conditions are now being understood by the person then the person should get water baptized as soon as possible. What is the significance of water baptism? "Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death ....." Baptism is not a ritual but we are buried into His death.  What death is  Paul talking about?  Surely it is not the death on the cross.  Discouragement. Discouragement is a common thing , that we come across , many times in our life. Discouragement comes knocking , when things don't turn out as we had expected. It is very normal to have expectations in different areas of our life and it is normal to pray regarding them. Remember that God has promised to fulfill our desires . (Ps 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.) But there are times when our wishes/desires do not come to pass, one of the main reason could be that it was not the "will of God" or it could be God wants us to "wait on Him". If we involve God in all our "unpleasant" circumstances , then it becomes easy to digest as we begin to see the hand of God in these things . We can thus seek for God's grace ( enabling power) to go through these circumstances.
